"Virtual Genius" | ||
"I'm Your Genius" is now proud to offer a new service: "Your Virtual Genius" remote troubleshooting and training. Utilizing the power of Mac OS X and the internet, we can now help you with your Mac problems and give you hands-on training whether you are in Los Angeles or Luxemborg, New York or New Zealand. Here's how "Your Virtual Genius" works. Let's say that you would like to get training on Apple's iPhoto application and have signed up for a "Virtual Genius" remote session.
By using Mac OS 10.5's iChat application, we create a video chat session between you and us. We then use the "Screen Sharing" feature, allowing us to see and interact with your Mac as if we were at your location with you. We can also see and hear each other. You may also create an "audio only" session if you wish. The whole session takes place over the internet, so there are no long distance telephone charges. Once the session is done, Screen Sharing is turned off. We cannot share your screen unless you give us permission to and you may end the session whenever you wish. Using "Your Virtual Genius", we can now troubleshoot and sometimes solve Mac issues no matter where you are. Also, you can receive training on how to use your Mac to do "insanely great" things, from an introduction to Mac OS X (great for Windows "switchers", to editing in Final Cut Express to Photoshop and much, much more. For more information, call or contact us by email. We're as good as there!
