TECHNICAL SUPPORT

If your Mac isn't doing what you want it to, I can help. Many times, bluehd clients are pleased to find out that a problem they thought would require a repair just needs a setting changed or a system update. Evaluations can sometimes be done over the phone. Call me if:

Your Mac won't start, runs slowly or makes strange noises.

You just got a new Apple computer and you need help setting it up and transferring all of your data from the old computer.

You want to prolong the life of your older Mac, by upgrading of a larger hard drive or adding more memory.

You need help to run Windows on your Mac.

You can't get on the internet or your wireless networking doesn't work.

Your peripherals don't work (printer, scanner, iPod, iPhone, Apple TV, etc.)

Your data isn't backed up.

You hate going to the Apple Store. I'll pick up your computer and take it to your nearest Apple store for you. I speak "Genius".

TRAINING & PROJECT SUPPORT

One of the great things about getting a Mac is that it comes with just about everything you need for a productive computing experience. What it doesn't come with, however, is someone to show you how do that. My purpose is to empower people to make the most of their Apple technology. I can teach you:

	The basics of Mac OS X. The best way to make your Mac faster is to make you faster. By learning the ins and out of Mac OS X, you will learn how to work more efficently
	iLife (iTunes, iPhoto, iMovie, iDVD, GarageBand and iWeb). You'll be surprised at what you can create using the iLife suite of applications; movies, slideshows and picture books, create music or learn to play a new instrument, make your own website. Everything you need is on your Mac right now.
	The iPhone is about more than phone calls, music and games. Let me show you how to use your iPhone in concert with Apple's bundled Address Book, iCal, Mail, iPhoto and iTunes applications to synchronize your digital life.
	Third-party applications. Call me to learn how to use Photoshop, Quicken, QuickBooks Pro, Microsoft Office, Freeway Pro (an easy-to-use website creation app. This website was created with Freeway Pro), Skype and many other applications.

If what you need to learn isn't listed above, give me a call. If I can't teach it, I'll point you to someone who can.

SERVICE RATES

On-site service: $100 per hour, one-hour minimum.

A $20 travel surcharge will apply to locations outside the regular service area, which is a seven-mile radius from Universal City.

Cancellation fees: $25 within 24 hours of the appointment time. $50 within 12 hours of appointment time.

ABOUT YOUR GENIUS

I have been working with Apple computers since the '80's.

I started out in the entertainment industry as a actor, writer and stand-up comic. Several years ago, I made a career change from show business to the tech industry and, in 2000, accepted a position with Apple as a Mac Genius.

century city geniuses Usually, Apple hires it's Mac Geniuses from within the company. However, for the opening of it's Century City store, they decided to get a crew of outside people who already had a great deal of experience working with Macs

Although the Century City Apple Store was ready to open, the mall which houses the store was not, so Apple sent our crew to work at The Grove Apple Store "for a couple of weeks."

The couple of weeks turned out to be eight months. a delay for which I am grateful. It was awesome experience working at the flagship Apple Store for Los Angeles. I initally met many of my present clients while The Grove.

Eventually, the Century City store was ready and we opened the store. But, I missed the energy of The Grove and soon transferred back to the flagship.

tonyatapple It was a great experience for me. I would spend the day helping dozens of Mac users and giving them the best customer service in retail.

After about two and a half years, I decided to move on from Apple. I realized how much I enjoyed helping people, but I wanted to do so on my on terms. I took the experience that I gained and started "I'm Your Genius" Personal Mac Support.

I still refer many of my clients to Apple, however. For warranty repairs, inexpensive training or just for drooling over the latest Apple gear, the Apple Stores is the place to go

However, for out-of-warranty service, upgrades or service at your home or business, well, I'm your genius. My purpose is to empower people to make the most of their Apple technology.

I know that it's a cliche', but for me it's true: I do what I love. I love what I do.
